As part of the redevelopment of Freising’s public leisure and wellness facilities, in 2018/19 the city decided to complement its traditional pool landscape with a more natural alternative. With support from Balena, a 420 m² natural swimming pond was created – introducing a sustainable bathing concept to the modern sauna village.
With a volume of 570 m³, this water feature is treated using the Balena biological filtration system, ensuring consistently high water quality – for a near-natural, chlorine-free bathing and sauna experience.
